What do you see as a Risk, Kiddo?

When we were in our childhoods…

Learning a bicycle with the safety wheels…

We were so eager to take them off, cause that was a shame…

Dad would say, you will fall…

You would say, so what? Everyone learns only after few falls…

You showed him once and for all, one whole round, that you are riding fine…

And ensured the safety wheels are taken off in front of your eyes…

Without them, you took a lot of falls…

Rising each time… shaking off the dust on cloths, hiding the wound before you reach home…

You enjoyed that, didn't you?

Falling was fun! Rising was fun!

You felt like a big boy!

Wounds didn't kept you away from your bicycle too long…

Your falls reduced, you moved on very fast..

You can ride very comfortably, no issues what so ever!

Then came day to learn bike and then to car!

You loved it!

Loved it, Totally!!

Then, what happened now, Kiddo?

Why do you feel the wounds would be too big…

Why just the thought of falling is keeping you away from trying at all?

Why are you not ashamed of your safety wheels?

Why you don’t want to be the one to whom others look up to?

Why don’t you want to take on falling phase, quickly overcome it and zoom past to become expert?

Why you don’t want to give up your bicycle with safety wheels for the car?

Why why why?

Since when the inaction has started looking like a wise thing to do?

Since when the non-trying and non-falling has become glorious to you?

It’s such a waste…

It’s such a waste of brave young adult who could have been…

IF ONLY you would not have let go off that small child within…
